Newcastle takeover is a fantastic analogy to what UBI at national level would be like. The response would be the same.
I live in the northeast. So I now look at Newcastle United (their football club takeover) as analogy for success in politics/society. Investment in their football club as analogy to investment in people (UBI). The celebrations would be the same.
This is absolutely huge in the northeast. Off the scale. This is exactly what I am on about in terms of UBI at the national level. Celebrations in the streets level policy. In other words the opposite of a tinkering policy. A revolution. BIGGER than the introduction of the NHS and Welfare State.
